I began my media career at age 15, worked on-air at three radio stations during college, and brought down the curtain on broadcasting in 2001. Within those years I led production teams at age 22, hired and managed an on-air staff for a new 50Kw FM format at 26, and debuted my own FM radio station at 28.
I also enjoyed seven years as a creative director/producer with a regional audio-video production studio, which allowed me to work with fascinating personalities from ad agencies, corporate marketing departments and talent pools. During this entire time, you could hear my voice-overs on radio and TV throughout the regional market. (I even voiced a TV spot for the Super Bowl, but the client never confirmed the airtime purchase.)
After my partners and I sold our FM station (and a sister AM that we had acquired), I concentrated on creating eLearning and marketing presentations for a national medical software developer. As Director of Marketing, I could use my broadcast marketing experience to advance the company’s brand and improve customer loyalty. I also designed, built and maintained their customer-facing and public websites.
Currently, I enjoy freelance voice-over and writing/proofreading projects. I’ve also begun developing custom Excel tools for businesses and hobbyists.
